I hacked my pony tail off but I couldn't get the hairdressing crappy Chinese scirrors through it, so I found v quickly a pair of vety sharp 4 inch long really good scissors, in ten pulls above the elastic band at about 4 inches below my nape neckline I now have one amazingly brilliant totally better than this boring one length symetrical a dhaped inverted cap bob. I have created by shear accident and really positive pull cutting, a double length a symetrical with layers, extreme wedge really top of the hairdressers one fantastically superb hair style with just one cut that I dragged kicking and screaming into the world. I had lots of black box dyed crappy long hair. I'm 55 and used to be a model so am wrinkled but no old cat eitch now. Trouble is, everyone who has seen it after washing it finfing a couple of bits and hacking them. This is the best haircut I have ever seen on anyone. Hey With layers so amazing. I now have to drag hair out of ppls heads now. At least I get paid for it. The ladies love it and the swearing too. ❤😂 I will have to stick a pic or 10 up. I’ve done the scrunchie method for years, it totally works! And if you leave a little space in between the scrunchies, you’ll get nice waves in your hair. :)

What kind of scrunchies did you use?

Awesome I used the method you showed where you bring half of your hair around each side to the front, tie it together at the front, and then cut. I was going to do the straighter cut you showed a little later in the video, but that would have meant cutting each side separately and perhaps not being even side to side. Thanks for posting!

do NOT do the diagonal method. DO NOT. It made the back SO much longer then the front and i did the same thing as she did. I now have a bob.

SQUEE!! & OMG!! Thank you SO much for posting this amazing DIY video. I just gave myself the BEST haircut I've ever had. Getting the top and bottom ponytails even and smooth took a few attempts, but the result is absolutely adorable. FYI my hair is ultra-fine, slightly wavy, and freakishly smooth, and I use a curling iron to give my hair body and shine. Cheers!

Definitely not for thick hair, my partner had tidy me up. Right pigs ear, lol where is the disclaimer 🤔 what works for me is a pony, pull it to the side as little as possible, wet, and cut at a slight angle. Practice makes perfect 👍

I'm sorry, but I have fine, slick hair and this absolutely did not work for me 😢 I ended up with even wavier hair than I already have.

This didn’t work for me when I tried it myself with the two scrunchies. There was longer hair behind shorter layers, so it wasn’t straight in the back at all. 😅 but my mom helped me and corrected it and now I am really happy with the result. :) just wouldn’t have made it on my own without any hair cutting experience.
